Judge clears $16.5M sale of shuttered ethanol plant in Wis. to Ace Ethanol

A judge has affirmed the auction sale of the idled Utica Energy ethanol plant in Oshkosh, Wis., to Ace Ethanol for $16.5 million. Before the transaction can be completed, it must also be approved by Ace Ethanol shareholders, said Robert Sather, the company's co-founder and director of government affairs. Ace intends to have the plant "up and running in September and October," Sather said.
