Moody's: Global factors to weigh on Southeast Asia growth

A pullback of foreign capital due to U.S. Fed tapering and a sluggish global economy will translate into growth this year under the recent norm for Southeast Asian nations, according to Moody's Analytics. But "robust investment and household consumption remain the key pillars of growth across the region, a theme we expect to persist for the rest of 2013. ... All told, the ASEAN region is forecast to grow 4.8% in 2013, a touch below the 5% long-run growth rate," Moody's said.
