N.Y. pilot becomes UFO member

Pilot Ken Haefner of Schenectady, N.Y., celebrated his 80th birthday flying a Cessna 182 owned by his flying club, the Condair Flyers. The flight also marked his induction into the 1,200-member strong group, United Flying Octogenarians, open to all pilots who fly an airplane on or after their 80th birthday. "If you maintain a good physical condition and your mind is sharp, you can fly when you're 100 if you want to," said Haefner.
