Sensors may provide sensitive skin for prosthetics

A flexible sensor that could be incorporated into electronic skin on prosthetics may allow users to once again experience touch, humidity and temperature changes, writes Sean Fitz-Gerald. The development by scientists at the Technion-Israel Institute of Technology operates with very little energy and provides a spectrum of sensations simultaneously.
