Study: Wide-open job hunts may be counterproductive

Job seekers are happier if they focus on areas of employment where they have experience, a University of Leuven in Belgium study finds. A flexible job search approach leads people to take jobs for which they're overqualified, and that can lead to greater job dissatisfaction and possibly cause them to quit their jobs and be unemployed again, researchers say.
