U.S. Fed's continued easing seen giving Korean stocks a second wind

The U.S. Federal Reserve's new commitment to extended quantitative easing amounts to a reprieve for the South Korean stock market, said Gwak Byeong-yeol, a market strategist at Eugene Investment & Securities. The latest signal from Fed Chairman Ben Bernanke will allow Korean "market participants time to adjust to the Fed's exit from quantitative easing," Gwak said.
