Watermelon shines in summer dishes

New Orleans chefs are taking advantage of watermelon season by adding the juicy fruit to soups, salads and appetizers. Chef Mike Nelson of GW Fins sprinkles cubes of watermelon with salt and sugar before pairing them with braised cuts of pork belly for a tasty, unique starter.
