Alternative therapy does not help children with cancer stress

Alternative therapies such as massage, humor and relaxation did not offer children with cancer much help as they endured stressful bone marrow transplants, researchers reported. The study found alternative treatments were not better than traditional support, including drugs for nausea and pain and psychosocial help for the children and parents.
