John Deere looks for further expansion in India

John Deere plans to open as many as 50 dealerships in India within a year. The company already operates 380 in the country but hopes to increase its market share, according to Mahesh Boolchandani, the deputy general manager of marketing services. The company has manufacturing facilities for micro irrigation systems and tractors in the country.
