More Irish question Catholic Church's grip on schools

More people in Ireland are questioning the Catholic church's stronghold over the country's schools. The church runs 90% of primary schools in the country and 50% of high schools. In recent years, the number of multidenominational schools has grown since the late 1970s, and the government is testing an initiative to take more schools under its wing.
