Obese women could reduce hot flashes through diet, exercise

Obese women enrolled in a program that involved diet and regular exercise experienced greater improvement in their hot flash symptoms compared with women who were not in the program, researchers reported. "We hope what this study will do is help give women some motivation if they're overweight ... that the efforts that they make through diet and exercise can have immediate benefits," the study chief said.
