BCBS Tennessee gives breast pumps to mothers of NICU babies

BlueCross BlueShield of Tennessee is giving mothers who have infants in a hospital NICU breast pumps so they can more easily provide breast milk that can help boost their newborn's ability to fight infection. Physicians petitioned the insurer to provide the coverage for hospital-grade pumps to replace the hand pumps mothers had been using.
