Dell founder focused on turnaround plan as takeover vote looms

Dell founder Michael Dell, who along with Silver Lake Partners hopes to take over the PC-maker, is developing a turnaround plan in the event their bid beats out one from investor Carl Icahn, Shira Ovide writes. The plan reportedly includes spending $1.1 billion on research and development and a strategy for Android-based devices.
