Employers, workers continue to see value in voluntary benefits

Many employers who offer dental, vision and other optional benefits see the coverage as a recruiting and retention tool and plan to continue offering voluntary benefits after the Affordable Care Act is fully implemented. Some ACA exchanges will not include vision or dental plans, while some exchange-sold plans will include ancillary benefits. But, experts say, the products will be available through a number of channels.
