Freddie Mac to launch mortgage bond

Freddie Mac is offering a type of mortgage bond, reportedly called the Structured Agency Credit Risk, that will allow investors to bear more of the risk from loans that the firm guarantees. "Our intention is to create products that will be well received by investors" and, over time, can be sold in greater volume, a spokeswoman said. The sale of the security is set to close on July 24.
