Sens. Warren, McCain back bill to bar big banks from trading

Sens. Elizabeth Warren, D-Mass., and John McCain, R-Ariz., as well as two other senators, are sponsoring a bill that would clearly separate conventional banking and risky speculation. The 21st Century Glass-Steagall Act would create a modern equivalent of the 1933 Glass-Steagall Act, which limited regulated banks' activity.
