The new U.S. focus on the Asia-Pacific region could still be threatened by sequestration cuts, said Marine Corps Commandant Gen. James Amos, speaking this week at a Center for Strategic and International Studies forum. "It's yet to be seen how much of the Asia-Pacific strategy, which is really where the focus is, how much is going to be affordable when all the dust settles," Amos said.
