Ponderosa and Bonanza Steakhouses are using paper tabletops to encourage visitors to download the Front Flip application. With the app, mobile users can scan a tabletop QR code to receive in-restaurant offers. "The opportunity for us is to bounce people back [into the restaurants], and the major benefit is that Front Flip gives our guests something to talk about and interact with in a positive way," said Jon Rice, chief marketing officer at Homestyle Dining, which is the parent company of Ponderosa and Bonanza.
