Swiss banks reportedly close to giving account data to U.S.

About a dozen Swiss banks are close to delivering information that could help U.S. tax authorities track down Americans using Swiss accounts to conceal assets, The Wall Street Journal reports. The banks are preparing to deliver "leaver lists," or aggregate account data that could lead U.S. prosecutors to tax evaders, the newspaper says.
