Microsoft CEO Steve Ballmer has unveiled a plan to reorganize his company into "one Microsoft," with eight product divisions squeezed to four in the pursuit of a single companywide strategy. Pundits say that despite Ballmer's upbeat platitudes, the organizational revamp may not be enough to turn Microsoft around. "Microsoft probably needs to take even bigger risks. ... You'll know it's setting a bolder course when its executives stop talking in big generalities," writes Brian Bergstein.
