Site offers kids a say in the election

Ken Hakuta, former host of a PBS science series, has launched Kidsvote2004.com to encourage children as young as middle-school age to become engaged in the upcoming election. Besides polling children for their positions on various issues, the site offers a contract where parents can pledge to vote for their children's candidate, provided the youngsters have done their research.
