Yellow Pages may outperform search engines locally

Although Google and Yahoo! are the first search engines customers may use to look for merchandise, the online Yellow Pages are better for local searching, search experts say. This is because Yellow Pages have a 100-year history of collecting information from community businesses, and one local company experienced a 30% increase in sales listed with the Yellow Pages over what it had with Google and Overture.
