Congress to bolster derivatives oversight, Frank says

Rep. Barney Frank, D-Mass., chairman of the House Financial Services Committee, said he is less concerned with which government agencies would monitor derivatives than ensuring the oversight is done. Treasury Secretary Timothy Geithner was testifying before a joint session of Frank's committee and the House Agriculture Committee on the White House's plan to regulate derivatives.
