The minimum wage is about to go up to $7.25 and the timing is definitely bad for small businesses, says Rosemary Elebash, NFIB/Alabama. "The last survey the NFIB members took said in order to take this third and final leg, they would cut hours and reduce the numbers of employees and certainly not add any," she said.
