Networking is critical for women's success

Women tend to have less "social capital" in their organizations despite the common assumption that they have superior social skills, according to a gender-equity study conducted at Northwestern University. "Women should look harder for ways to network. They need to know it's important to career success," said researcher Alice Eagly.
