San Diego City Hall could be model for green construction

The preliminary design for San Diego's new City Hall includes wind turbines, a turfed green roof and solar panels. Chilled water running through the beams would cool the building, and the sun's rays would provide indoor lighting during the day. Supporters of the project say it could serve as a model for green construction in the region.
