Virginia nanotechnology center is a small step closer

Planners in Pulaski County, Va., have approved setting aside a small section of a 1,000-acre business park for a proposed $20 million nanotechnology center for business and education. The state's First Regional Industry Facility Authority earmarked $20,000 for the proposed Virginia Nanotechnology Park, which would feature a 58,280-square-foot building for energy, environmental and medical companies using nanotechnology.
