Burberry reports 27% surge in quarterly sales

Burberry Group, the largest luxury retailer in the UK, said sales growth was led by increases in Asia and more deliveries to wholesale clients. Demand for luxury goods has surged as consumers start spending again and distributors restock. Burberry is looking to open as many as 30 stores this year across Asia-Pacific and the Americas, according to CEO Angela Ahrendts.
