Grants aim to encourage minorities to pursue health care

Howard University in Washington, D.C., received a $1.5 million federal grant for scholarships to help keep its minority students enrolled in health profession programs. The money is part of the $96 million in grants that the HHS hopes will boost minority representation in the country's health professions.
