Police dog dies after choking on a ball

Badger, a Dayton, Ohio, police dog, died over the weekend after a rubber ball tossed by her partner while the pair were exercising became lodged in her throat. During her four-year career with the city's K9 Unit, Badger worked more than 200 drug-seizure cases and 25 drug currency cases.
