Video archives such as those offered on SpinTX -- a project maintained by the University of Texas at Austin -- can be used to supplement classroom instruction, graduate students Musetta Reed and Lauren Rovin write in this blog post. They also recommend two other audiovisual resources -- Stick Out Your Tongue and LoMásTV. "Bringing to life language and culture in a classroom can be challenging as an educator," they write, adding, "Not many world language educators have immediate and constant access to authentic materials that connect their students to a world commonly experienced via textbook."
