Group files suit to stop marriage ballot question

Arizona Together, the group opposing a state marriage amendment, filed a lawsuit on Wednesday, alleging the ballot question violates the state constitution because it asks voters to weigh in on marriage and civil unions. But a consultant for the amendment's backer, Protect Marriage Arizona, said it meets the constitutional test of covering a single subject -- marriage.
