Airbus brings in gross order of 525 aircraft in first half of '08

Airbus says it received a total gross order of 525 aircraft units between January and June of 2008, giving it a leading market share of 52%. The orders represent $62 billion, according to current list prices, and when cancellations and transfers to the new A350 are taken into account, the 487 net orders that came in through June are nearly double the number of deliveries made during the same period.
