Aircraft makers have recovery on their radar screens

Aircraft manufacturers may still be deep in the midst of production cuts and work furloughs, but some are nevertheless gearing up for the eventual economic recovery. Cessna Aircraft Co. is working to install a new $8.5 million stretch press in its facility in Wichita, Kan., and Hawker Beechcraft Corp. is working on a government contract for its T6A trainer aircraft.
