Some buyers don't want Hawaii condos without Trump's involvement

Those who purchased 11 high-priced condominium units at Hawaii's Trump International Hotel & Tower Waikiki Beach Walk have sued the developers, saying they were led to believe real estate mogul Donald Trump was associated with the project, which he isn't. The buyers had scrambled to reserve units that were sold for an average of $1.5 million three years ago, but now that the project is set to open, the buyers said they received a brochure from developer Irongate saying the project isn't "owned, operated, developed or sold" by Trump. The buyers have filed suit to rescind their sales contracts and receive refunds on their deposits.
