2,400-ton prefabricated bridge floats down Hudson River

Three tugboats hauled a prefabricated steel bridge about 350 feet long, 65 feet high and 77 feet wide down the Hudson River on Tuesday. The 2,400-ton bridge that took 18 months to build is destined to be installed across the Harlem River, linking Manhattan and the Bronx.
