Exxon opens greenhouse for algae-based biofuels program

ExxonMobil has unveiled a greenhouse facility to grow and study algae for biofuel production. The oil giant, which pledged last year it would allocate $600 million over the next five to six years for its algae-based biofuels program, announced it would bolster the project's funding if research targets are met.
