Fashion designers increasingly bring high style to hotels

Iconic fashion designer Giorgio Armani might have opened his first signature hotel this year in the world's tallest building in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, but he joined a growing number of other designers who have checked in to the business of bringing their brand to hospitality. In London, Diane von Furstenberg is designing 20 new rooms for the upscale Claridge's hotel in Mayfair, and in Scotland, designer Rosita Missoni opened a hotel in Edinburgh, run by the Rezidor Hotel Group, last summer.
