Interior official supports revamped drilling ban:

Michael Bromwich, chief of the Interior Department's Bureau of Ocean Energy Management, supports the government's new temporary ban on deepwater drilling, saying it's still "too risky" to permit such drilling while the government continues to resolve the Gulf of Mexico oil spill. The agency also needs more time to study new safety regulations and create site-specific response strategies, he added.
