Minn. mothers partner to form autism support group

Kristin Pruitt and Lisa Valera, two Minnesota mothers whose children have autism, are creating "Families Living with Autism," a support group to help other parents navigate the daily realities of living with the disorder. Though the two mothers have had very different experiences with their children, the common ground they share has formed the basis of their friendship and the inspiration for the new group. "We want to celebrate our kids. These are great kids," Pruitt said.
