$4B Tappan Zee Bridge project update: Test-piling work begins

Workers on the $4 billion Tappan Zee Bridge project in New York are expected to begin installing the "first of many steel piles" this week to analyze soil and rock conditions under the Hudson River. The test-piling work will take three months, and construction of the bridge could begin in October.
