China's GDP growth eased to 7.5% in Q2, government says

China has confirmed what many private forecasters had been predicting: Expansion of the economy slowed to 7.5% in the second quarter. The figure, released by the National Bureau of Statistics, is slightly below Q1's 7.7% expansion but is considerably short of the 10% average annual growth during the past three decades.
