Too little sleep may lead to problem behavior in preschoolers

Preschool-age children who got fewer hours of sleep every night were at greater risk of showing problematic behaviors including aggression and tantrums compared with more well-rested peers, a study showed. Helping sleep-deprived children get more hours of sleep at night may improve their behavior, researchers reported in the Journal of Developmental and Behavioral Pediatrics.
