U.K. chemical industry collaborating to boost growth efforts

Stakeholders across the U.K. chemical sector are collaborating to promote innovation, competitive feedstock and other industry priorities. The "Chemical Growth Strategy Group," which recently presented its draft strategy to the government, is composed of chemical firms and trade professionals. "The UK needs a fully integrated chemical industry, all the way back to competitive feedstocks and energy. ... We need a complete ecosystem, including small, medium and large companies as well as innovative start-ups," said group member Ian Shott.
