Community leader pleads guilty to stealing association funds

A community leader from Anne Arundel County, Md., pleaded guilty to theft scheme for misusing more than $74,000 from the Stillmeadows Condominium Association, of which she was president. Wanda Brooks Hebron, who was known for organizing children's programs and community cleanup events, used the association's debit card to make purchases at restaurants, drugstores and gas stations, as well as pay cellphone bills.
