New Yorkers to decide on $2.9 billion transportation bond

A $2.9 billion transportation bond going before New York voters this November would give $1.13 billion for state highway and bridge projects, $135 million for rail and port improvements and $50 million for mass transit improvements. The bond would also allocate $23.6 million to improve the Exit 6 interchange on Interstate 87 at Route 7.
