CDC: Half of adults 50 and up get colorectal cancer screening

A CDC report finds half of adults age 50 and older got colorectal cancer testing in 2005, an increase from 43% in 2000. One researcher said doctors may need more education about the importance of screening, which can significantly reduce mortality from colorectal cancer.
