Low-fat dairy improves kidney, heart health

Low-fat dairy products may have a positive effect on the kidney and, as a result, reduce the risk of heart disease. A new study shows that people who consumed more low-fat dairy regardless of what else they ate as well as those who incorporated low-fat dairy into a healthy meal plan had better kidney function and lowered their risk of cardiovascular disease.
