All HRT use raises risk of ovarian cancer

Hormone replacement therapy raises the risk of ovarian cancer regardless of the type of hormones used or the length of usage, according to a study from Denmark that included some 900,000 women. Researchers found that women taking HRT during the study follow-up period had almost a 40% increased chance of developing ovarian tumors.
