Parents of autistic children report high stress levels

A study found mothers of autistic children report higher levels of stress when compared with mothers whose children have developmental delays. One researcher, in this Q-and-A session, said problem behavior was one reason for stress in moms of children with development delays but more research is needed on the other factors that impact stress for parents of children with autism.
